The mission of the Beloit Poetry Journal is to seek out and share work of fresh and lasting power. The BPJ has been publishing poetry since 1950.

Black Warrior Review
The literary publication was founded by graduate students in the MFA Program in Creative Writing at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. It is named after the river that borders the school.

Boston Review describes itself as a political and literary forum.

BuzzFeed
BuzzFeed has an online magazine called Reader. It features cultural criticism, personal essays, fiction, and poetry. The Reader is also home of the annual BuzzFeed Emerging Writers Fellowship.

Cave Wall
Cave Wall is a national literary journal of poetry and art. Cave Wall is dedicated to publishing the best in contemporary poetry and is "interested in poems of any length and style from both established and emerging poet."

Copper Nickel
Copper Nickel is a national literary journal housed at the University of Colorado Denver. It was founded by poet Adam York in 2002.

Grain Magazine
Grain Magazine is an internationally acclaimed literary journal, publishing the freshest poetry and prose from Canada, the US, and abroad.

Graywolf Press
Graywolf Press is a leading independent, nonprofit literary press committed to the discovery and energetic publication of twenty-first century American and international literature. Graywolf publishes about thirty books a year. The publisher had its fifth National Book Award longlist nominee last year.

New Ohio Review
New Ohio Review is a national literary journal produced by Ohio University's Creative Writing Program.

Rattle's mission is to promote the practice of poetry. Rattle has published over 2,200 poets including over 400 first time poets. The Rattle poetry magazine is a publication of the Rattle Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity.
