100,000 Poems Dropped Over London

100,000 poems were dropped over London on June 26th. The poems were dropped from the sky by helicopters. CNN reports that the event, called the Rain of Poems, was initiated by Casagrande, a Chilean arts collective. The event helped celebrate the forthcoming Olympic Games by including poetry by at least one poet from each country participating in the 2012 London Olympic Games. The fun event also marks the Poetry Parnassus, which is the biggest ever gathering of poets from all over the world. Take a look:
