Two new group publishers have been named, along with sales and marketing executives to expand the company's visibility and presence in a more integrated effort throughout the U.S.

Ellen Gould, Publisher of Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine since 1997, has been promoted to Group Publisher, adding responsibilities for ENT magazine to her current responsibilities with MCP, certcities.com and other related properties. Scott Bekker, Editor-in-Chief of ENT, will report to Gould. A combined sales effort for the magazines will be led by Henry Allain, who was promoted to Advertising Director of MCP and ENT. Gould will continue to report to Senior Vice President and Publishing Director Tom Wilson for magazines and to Stephen Crofts, Senior Vice President of 101 Conferences, for conferences.

Cliff Mulcahy has been named a Group Publisher for 101, adding Enterprise Systems Journal to his current responsibilities overseeing Midrange Systems and the ASP web initiatives. He has been publisher of MRS since 1998. Chris Amaru has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief/Associate Publisher of Midrange Systems and will work with Mulcahy to continue to build the MRS franchise. Charlie Simpson, current Editor-in-Chief of ESJ will also report to Mulcahy. Mulcahy will continue to report to Tom Wilson, who will now directly oversee HP Professional, Unisphere and Enterprise Linux.

He will oversee all promotional sales efforts, as well as the overall marketing strategy and corporate branding for 101. Sande joined 101 earlier this year as Director of Business Development, bringing with him a broad background in newspaper publishing, sales and marketing. He will continue to be responsible for coordinating new business and product programs and will report to Jeffrey S. Klein, President and COO.
