Screenplay Nominees for the 86th Oscars Announced

The screenplay nominees for the 86th Oscars have been announced. This year's awards will be presented on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The awards ceremony will be televised live on ABC.

Chris Hemsworth and Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced the nominees in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater early this morning. Here are the nominees:

Best Adapted Screenplay

Best Original Screenplay Spike Jonze won the award for Best Screenplay for Her at the 2014 Golden Globes. We will see if he is able to repeat at the Oscars.
