9/11 Commission Report a National Book Finalist

Posted on October 14, 2004

The 9/11 Commission Report (W.W. Norton) is a finalist for the National Book Award. The report was a surprise on the bestseller list and has sold over 1 million copies since its July release according to CNN.

However, not everyone was happy with the report. Emmy award-winning investigative journalist Peter Lance (author of Cover Up) said in an interview that the report was "a whitewash."

Lance says in our interview, "There's no doubt in my mind that the 9/11 Commission Report was a whitewash. It's well documented in Cover Up."
