A Tour of Charles Dickens' Childhood Home

This year is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens. His actual birthday was on February 7th. There are many international events and programs being organized to celebrate the life and work of the author which will take place all year. You can find out more about the celebration at Dickens 2012.

As part of that celebration, the home where Dickens was born has undergone a refurbishment and is now open to visitors. In this video, The Telegraph takes a tour around the house where he was born with Lucinda Dickens Hawksley, his great-great-great granddaughter. Take a look:
