Aboutportals.com Launches Website Dedicated To Corporate Portals

Aboutportals is a new website for corporate portals. Among the companies participating in the introduction of aboutportals.com are Brio Technology, The Data Warehouse Institute and Traffick.com. The aboutportals.com website will incorporate information and data from leading content providers, including trade and business publications, analyst organizations, as well as a network of key partners.

Each month, aboutportals.com will feature the opinions and insights of a different industry analyst. Wayne Eckerson, research director of The Data Warehouse Institute, will be the first analyst to contribute to the site. The first article, ``Real World Portals,'' sheds light on how companies are deploying portals today -- including lessons learned on turning this valuable technology into a company's primary electronic workspace. Developed to be both educational and interactive, aboutportals.com is categorized into six sections, including Technology, Viewpoint, News, Events, The Portal Guy featuring ``The Portal Challenge'', Case Studies and B2B initiatives.

Jack Norris, Brio Technology's vice president of portal products, says in the announcement, "We are very proud to support the launch of aboutportals.com.
