Adam Corolla Inks Political Humor Book Deal With It Books

Posted on August 24, 2013

Comedian, deejay and actor Adam Corolla just inked a deal with William Morrow's It Books for President Me: The America That's In My Head. The book will be released in June, 2014. The book will present a collection of Adam's rants, and this time he's getting political.

The book will give Adam a chance to share his thoughts about the state of American politics and a number of other subjects, such as new Czars the country needs, who needs to be exiled from America and what needs to be fixed to make America the way he'd like it to be. The book also helps readers gear up for the 2014 midterms and the 2016 political election.

Carrie Thornton, Executive Editor, It Books, had this to say about the project, "Adam Carolla has a highly engaged fan base and is very skilled at delivering what his audience wants. I know that this book will offer his existing fans, and new ones, a much needed dose of humor just as the election machinery starts ramping up again. I'm very excited to work with Adam."

Adam said in a statement, "I'm thrilled to be collaborating with Carrie Thornton and Lynn Grady at It Books, and I know this will be my best book yet. I'm so excited about this project, I'm even considering not having it ghost written. Dude, don't type that last part."

This post was updated to add the book cover which features Corolla in an Uncle Sam hat. The book is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
