Adobe Magazine Ceases Publishing

Posted on January 5, 2001

After 10 years Adobe Magazine has ceased publication, with November/December 2000 being their final issue in print. The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), a trade association for the Adobe Photoshop industry and resource for Adobe Photoshop news and information, has announced that Adobe has selected NAPP's Photoshop ``how-to'' magazine, Photoshop User, to fulfill the remaining issues of Adobe Magazine's paid subscriptions.

According to Adobe, they are now, ``focusing their customer communication efforts on its website, adobe.com, where you can find the same sort of inspirational and how-to content as Adobe Magazine.''

``We're really delighted to have been selected to provide our magazine and content to Adobe Magazine's readership,'' says NAPP President and Photoshop User Editor-in-Chief Scott Kelby. ``NAPP's growth this year has been phenomenal, and we feel this partnership will definitely expand the awareness of our organization in the Photoshop community. The first issue of Photoshop User that Adobe Magazine's paid subscribers will receive is already on its way to subscribers. This a very exciting time for the Photoshop community, and certainly for us as well,'' Kelby adds.

Photoshop User magazine is published by the NAPP for its members. Each issue includes how-to's, step-by-step tutorials, tips, tricks, and the techniques for getting the most out of Adobe Photoshop, and how to use Photoshop with other Adobe products.
