Anti-Obama Books Become Bestsellers

Posted on August 7, 2008

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has had his own books - Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope - on the bestseller list for months now. His books are still selling but lately a number of anti-Obama books are also becoming bestsellers. Three anti-Obama titles were recently among Amazon.com's twenty top bestselling books.

Here's the three bestselling books that don't paint Senator Obama in a positive light.

  • The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, by Jerome Corsi
  • The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate by Fredosso's
  • Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, and Washington Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us ... and What to Do About It. by Dick Morris.

Of these three books it is Corsi's Obama Nation that is selling the best. It is the #1 political book on Amazon.com and is expected to top the New York Times Bestseller List for August 17th. The book has been slammed by Media Matters and Huffington Post but that's probably only going to make the book more popular among conservatives.
