Anvil Relaunches As Internet Society Resource

Posted on April 4, 2000

Wave Rock Communications, Inc. has announced its relaunch of Anvil, a free online magazine that provides perspectives on the issues shaping today's Internet society. The monthly magazine will explore news, issues and trends relevant to Internet business, marketing, communications and technology.

``I'm excited to bring Anvil back into the fold,'' said Kent Lewis, Wave Rock Communications vice president of Internet Strategies. ``While there are many more ezines and newsletters now than there were four years ago, I still believe there's a void in coverage relating to the Internet's affect on modern society.''

Lewis resumes his role as editor of Anvil, which he created in 1996. In the past, Anvil covered Internet marketing and communications-related topics ranging from Internet privacy and security issues to HDTV, all from an advertising, public relations or Web development perspective. Originating as an email-based newsletter, the new Anvil will take on a Web-based magazine (ezine) format.
