Arnold Schwarzenegger's Total Recall Book Cover Art Revealed

Posted on April 18, 2012

Simon & Schuster unveiled the book jacket for Arnold Schwarzenegger's autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, which will be published in October 2, 2012.

The book jacket art was first unveiled on Twitter this morning by Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger is having fans pin photograph suggestions for the back cover on Pinterest.

The book covers Schwarzenegger's journey to the United States from Austria. It also covers his bodybuilding career, which he began on the sands of Venice Beach. The book also covers Arnold's career in film and politics.

There was nothing specific mentioned in Simon & Schuster's press release, but the autobiography could contain information about Schwarzenegger's affair and separation from his wife, Maria Shriver. Simon & Schuster says in its release, "Proud of his accomplishments and honest about his regrets, Schwarzenegger spares nothing in sharing his amazing story." The word "regrets" could be a clue that the book mentions his marital troubles, or it could be regrets about anabolic steroids use.

Total Recall is also the name of a 1990 science fiction film Schwarzenegger starred in. Coincidentally, a remake of the film, starring Colin Farrell, will arrive in theaters in August.
