Posted on October 2, 2011

The news that the your first book will be published is a huge event in an author's life. Author Jennifer Echols turned the location where she first heard she would be published into the setting for her second novel. She was sitting in her car in a hot parking lot in a small town outside of Destin, Florida when she got the call.

Jennifer Echols says, "That was such a wonderful moment for me - and I had worked so hard and so long for it - that when I was looking for a setting that made me feel happy inside, when I was writing another book, I drew on that setting. I made up a fictional town near Destin, Florida and that is the setting for my novel, Forget You."
