Barnes & Noble Launches Read Forever Nook Campaign

Barnes & Noble has launched a new marketing campaign for its Nook color ebook reading device. The book retailer's "Read Forever" campaign focuses on the pleasure of reading. The narrator in the ad says, "Till rhymes stop rhyming, and pots stop boiling, and everyone is happy, and there is nothing more to say. Till that day. By hook or by crook, by book or by Nook, I will read."
Barnes & Noble also announced a new firmware update for Nook Color. The update adds the ability to purchase Nook apps, including games like Angry Birds. The update added a built-in email application and updated web browser. The update also expands the Nook Kids digital picture book experience.
