Ben Bova Joins Galaxyonline.com as Publisher

Galaxyonline.com, a science fiction and science fact online network, has announced that author and futurist Dr. Ben Bova has recently signed on as publisher and senior vice president. Bova is well known to science fiction audiences from his books and his role with Omni magazine, where he served as editorial director. His newest novel, entitled Venus, is set to debut in April.

Bova will write a bi-monthly column for the website that will cover a wide variety of topics, including space travel, health, money, and entertainment. According to Douglas E. Bova has been involved in science and high technology since the beginning of the space program. He is President Emeritus of the National Space Society, and is a past president of Science fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Bova lectures regularly on the impact of science on politics, is a member of the board of contributors of USA Today, the Arizona Astronomy Board, and has appeared on hundreds of television broadcasts as a regular guest, including Good Morning America, and Today, as well as teaching science fiction at Harvard University. Prior to his role with Omni, Bova served as editor of Analog magazine.
