Bill Clinton Talks Gun Control at CES

Former President Bill Clinton weighed in on gun control at the Consumer Electronics Show yesterday.

Clinton said, "I grew up in this hunting culture, but this is nuts. Why does anybody need a 30 round clip for a gun? Why does anybody need one of those things that carries a 100 bullets. The guy in Colorado had one of those. Half of all the mass killings in the United States have occurred since the assault weapons ban expired in 2005. Half of all in the history of the country."

This was not the only subject Clinton addressed. He also discussed smartphones at the Consumer Electronics Show. AllThingsD reports that Clinton thinks the world needs less assault weapons, but much more smartphones. He wants handing out smartphones in the third world to be a priority in world humanitarian efforts.
