Posted on August 15, 2012

Journalist Bob Woodward will publish his 17th book next month. The Price of Politics will be published by Simon & Schuster on September 11, 2012. The book has a simple blue cover with two large red arrows. Simon & Schuster says the book will address "the key issue of the presidential and congressional campaigns: the condition of the American economy and how and why we got there."

The book also promises an examination of President Obama and high profile leaders from both sides of the aisle have attempted to restore the economy over the past 3.5 years.

ABC's Diane Sawyer will conduct the first interview with Bob Woodward about the book on Monday, September 10. Woodward will then be interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America the next morning.
