Borders.com Launches Magazine Newsstand

Borders.com, the online subsidiary of Borders Group, Inc. has partnered with MegaMags, Inc. to launch an online magazine newsstand. Founded in March 1999, MegaMags, Inc. is a Minneapolis-based ecommerce company that creates custom magazine newsstands for Internet sites.
Over 21,000 magazines will be available in single copies, back issues and subscriptions on the Borders.com Newsstand. The title base ranges from such familiar titles as Reader's Digest, Family Circle, Newsweek and Glamour to more esoteric publications including Yoga Journal, Pen World, UFO, American Cheerleader and New Zealand Quilter. The Borders.com Newsstand also includes more than 750 foreign language magazine titles available in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and German. There are also more than 350 British magazines available.
