Britney Spears Writes the Letter of Truth

Posted on October 4, 2004

Britney Spears is reportedly busy writing a letter of truth that will soon be available to the world. Today is reporting that, after all the bad publicity she's received, that pop superstar Britney Spears is carefully crafting a "Letter of Truth: I hope you can handle it," which will be posted on her website.

Ms. Spears told British magazine OK, "It was a life-changing letter for me, and I just want my fans to read it. It really states where I am in my life right now. It is making closure with a lot of things and I think this is my ultimate truth." She also noted that she has been working so hard on this opus that she "feels like I'm at Harvard."

Britney also says that she wants to be more involved in writing content for her fan club. The letter is due to be posted tomorrow on BritneySpears.com. Her fans are likely very excited.

Update: Britney's Letter of Truth has been posted on Stereogum. The letter discusses learning how to say no to things so she is not as busy as her mother. She also talks about watching Mandy Moore in Saved and going on her honeymoon. It sounds more like an update on what she is doing than the "Letter of Truth" but we are glad Britney is getting more into writing and using it to share her thoughts with fans.
