Burning Monk Photographer Malcolm Browne Dies at 81

Photographer Malcolm Browne has died at age 81. He is best known for shocking photographs of a self-immolating Buddhist monk in Saigon in 1963. Time a story behind the photographs here. Browne says he was the only photographer who showed up to document the burning monk. He says the burning monk never made a sound. The monks were protesting the Vietnamese government. Browne worked for the both the AP and the New York Times in his career. Take a look:
