Burt Reynolds to Publish Memoir in Fall 2015

Burt Reynolds will publish a memoir in fall 2015 with G.P. Putnam's Son called But Enough About Me. The book will be co-written by Jon Winokur. It will include a forward by Deliverance co-star Jon Voight.

In addition to Deliverance, Reynolds' lengthy film career has included The Longest Yard, Boogie Nights, Striptease, The Cannonball Run, Rough Cut and the Smokey and the Bandit films. His career is still active at 78. Some of his latest film projects include Category 5, Hollow Creek and Elbow Grease.

Reynolds will talk about growing up in Florida and playing football at Florida State. He will discuss his film career and famous movie roles. He also promises to set the record straight on subjects like his Cosmopolitan centerfold and his relationships with his Hollywood co-stars, including Sally Field. Reynolds will also discuss his Hollywood friends, including Clint Eastwood, Clark Gable and Frank Sinatra.

Reynolds says in a statement, "Setting the record straight is something that I have wanted to do for a while now. And with this book I will. This will be a project that will go into many areas I have never discussed."

Reynolds also published a memoir in 1994 called My Life.
