Bush Boosts Publishing Industry

Posted on August 9, 2004

Bob Minzesheimer of USA Today has a very interesting column about the political book wars. There have been so many partisan books which hit the bestseller lists this year, especially books which attack President Bush such as Richard Clarke's Against All Enemies and Ron Suskind's The Price of Loyalty.

Bush was able to joke about it, saying: "It really gets me when the critics say I haven't done enough for the economy. Look what I've done for the book publishing industry."

Senator Kerry should not feel left out. Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry by John O'Neill will be released this month.
