Charles Foran Wins 2011 Charles Taylor Prize

Charles Foran has won the 2011 Charles Taylor Prize for his book, Mordecai: The Life & Times, which was published by Alfred A. Knopf Canada. Noreen Taylor, founder of the prize, announced the winner during a gala luncheon in downtown Toronto at Le Meridien King Edward Hotel.

The annual award recognizes excellence in Canadian literary nonfiction. The award was established in 1998 to commemorate the life and work of one of Canada's foremost literary non-fiction writers, the late Charles Taylor.
