Chewbacca and the Porgs Book for Kids

Porgs are avian creatures that will make their first appearance in the upcoming Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They live on the on the secluded Ahch-To Island.

The cute porgs will have many toy tie-ins. There are plush toys, apparel, puzzles and more. There is an electronic porg toy coming out this fall.

There is also a children's picture book about Chewbacca and his little porg friends. It is called Chewie and the Porgs.

The book is written by Kevin Shinick with illustrations by Fiona Hsieh. It is available for purchase on Amazon.com. Chewbacca can be seen on the cover being followed by a flock of adorable porgs. Not much is known about the story yet other than that it is described as a "lovable tale" by the publisher and it features Chewbacca and the "pesky porgs." The new book is set to arrive in bookstores on December 15, 2017.
