CNN Launches CNN Pipeline

Posted on January 12, 2006

CNN has launched CNN Pipeline, a new service that lets web users watch up to four live news feeds at once, changing feeds at any time with a single mouse click. The service is a fee-based and commercial free. It shows videos of live events and speakers that CNN is covering even when the regular CNN news breaks away from the event. PC Magazine gave the new service a good review and said, "CNN Pipeline heralds the beginning of real Internet television. When a big story breaks and you don't have access to a TV, you'll head right to this service.." Current price rates for CNN Pipeline are 99 cents/day, $2.95/month and $24.95/year.
