College Television Network Changes Name to CTN Media Group

Posted on November 22, 1999

Jason Elkin, Chairman and CEO, has announced that the College Television Network will change its name to the CTN Media Group to include the College Television Network, LINK Magazine and Market Place Media, effective immediately. CTN Media Group (UCTN) owns and operates media companies in three areas -- broadcasting, magazine, and newspaper. According to Elkin, this change reflects the evolution of the company from a single product television network, to a diversified, multi-platform media solutions company reaching important targeted audiences.

"It is a truly exciting moment for us," says Elkin. "CTN Media Group is a dynamic, growing company that now is poised to be the leader in targeted media. Our properties are first-rate, our management team is first-rate and as far as we are concerned it is just the beginning."
