Colleges.com Acquires U. Magazine

Colleges.com has announced that it has acquired U. The National College Magazine, the nation's largest college magazine with a readership of 6.3 million. In the future, U. Magazine's student-produced news, lifestyle and entertainment content will be integrated into the Colleges.com site. Content from U. Magazine's website, U.online will also be incorporated into the Colleges.com site. Frances Huffman from U. Magazine will be joining Colleges.com as Publisher, Editor and Content Director of all of Colleges.com's media properties.

"We're happy to be bringing on U. Magazine, not only because it has the largest distribution of any college magazine, but also for its award-winning content, which we will be incorporating into our web site," said John Carrieri, chairman and chief executive officer of Colleges.com.
