Blue Mountain Arts holds a Biannual Poetry Card Contest. There are three prizes including a $350 first prize, $200 second prize and $100 third prize.

The site says poems can be rhyming or non-rhyming but it says "we find that non-rhyming poetry reads better." Another contest guideline says "We suggest that you write about real emotions and feelings and that you have some special person or occasion in mind as you write."
