The Iowa Poetry Prize is an annual prize awarded by the University of Iowa Press. It is open to both new and established poets for a book-length collection of poems written originally in English. The manuscript should be 50 to 150 pages in length.

Manuscripts should be mailed to the address listed on the poetry prize page along with the $20 reading fee payable to the University of Iowa Press Poetry Fund. Submissions should be postmarked in the month of April.

The winning manuscript will be published by the University of Iowa Press under a standard royalty agreement.
