Posted on April 25, 2011

Crown Publishing Group has partnered with author Deepak Chopra for a new imprint, Deepak Chopra Books. Chopra will select six nonfiction titles each year for the new imprint. The imprint, which will begin in 2012, will publish "important, innovative nonfiction books by visionary authors who are committed to enhancing people's lives."

In a statement, Chopra said, "I have long enjoyed a felicitous relationship with Crown as the publisher of many of my own bestselling books, and I am excited by this natural extension of our partnership. I look forward to collaborating with Tina Constable and her team to publish books I believe in with the same spirit of creativity and enthusiasm that has animated the publication of my own works."

The prolific Chopra, who has authored fifty-books, including fourteen bestsellers, will also continue to write books for Crown Publishing.
