Dale Strang Named Publisher of Equip

Equip, a new Ziff-Davis magazine due to launch in August, has named industry veteran Dale Strang as Publisher. Equip plans to deliver the latest product information for the digital lifestyle including PCs, satellite televisions, set-top boxes, digital cameras and DVD players. Strang, 38, moves to Equip from Ziff-Davis sister publication Computer Gaming World, where he has served as Publisher since 1996.

"Dale's remarkable success at Computer Gaming World speaks for itself," said Chris Dobbrow, Executive Vice President of ZD Publishing. "His publishing savvy, knowledge of the consumer marketplace, outstanding leadership qualities, and his own personal passion for technology and its lifestyle benefits will be tremendous assets at Equip."
