David Copperfield Claims J.K. Rowling Stole His Life Story for Harry Potter Novels

You know all those baseless lawsuits filed against J.K. Rowling claiming that she stole Harry Potter? You know, the ones that have all been found not to be true? Well, finally here is a claim that holds merit. Magician David Copperfield has revealed exclusively to Funny or Die that the entire Harry Potter story was based on his life story.

The invisibility cloak? He invented it. Hogwarts? He attended Hogwarts School himself (well, it was a correspondence course that also taught you how to fix VCRs) and once he even met Alan Rickman (who apparently was a dick to him). He said he has written J.K. Rowling, but she has been "too busy buying castles to fill with money" to get back to him.
