BigWords, an online destination for the 18 - 24 year old college audience, has announced that David Keeps has joined the company as Editorial Director. Keeps joins BigWords from Conde Nast's Details, a young men's fashion and lifestyle magazine, where he served as Executive Editor for ten years. Prior to that, he worked for Gruner & Jahr (YM), Murdoch (In Fashion) and Dennis Publishing (Star Hits) on launches and re-launches of publications focused on teenagers and young women.

As Editorial Director for BigWords, Keeps' responsibilities include assembling an editorial team and developing the voice and tone of the site's content, as well as contributing branding, marketing, promotion and merchandising expertise. In addition, Keeps will oversee the production of collateral multi-media publications on and off-line.

``We are excited to welcome David Keeps to BigWords,'' said Matt Johnson, CEO of BigWords. ``His editorial experience is totally in sync with the interests of our audience and we are confident that he will accelerate BigWords' development as a complete destination for 18 - 24 year old college students.''
