Donald Trump Announces He is Running for President

Donald Trump announced he is running for president in the 2016 race. He will seek the Republican nomination. Trump has considered running before but this is the first time he has actually entered the race. Trump launched his campaign with the slogan "Make America Great Again!"

The New York Times has an article about where Trump stands on some of the issues. He opposes the opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal and illegal immigration. He says he has a "foolproof way" to destroy ISIS. He favors traditional marriage and says same-sex marriage is not his thing.

Trump opened with a message on jobs. At a speech at Trump Tower he boldly stated, "I will be the greatest jobs president that God has ever created." Trump enters a very crowded with a growing number of Republican candidates. Take a look:
