Dow Jones & Company has announced the launch of dowjones.com, a new Web portal site with search and personalization features for businesspeople looking for information, services or Web resources.

"We're proud to bring businesspeople on the Web a trusted source of reliable information to help them gain a competitive edge with timely news and outstanding search resources," said Jessica Perry, general manager of dowjones.com. "Businesspeople who want to use the Web in a more informed and efficient way will find dowjones.com a superior destination. There's a huge landscape of scattered, Web-based business information; dowjones.com brings to it a new centrality and utility."

The main page of dowjones.com presents a snapshot of the primary functionality of the site, as well as top business, market and world news, and access to stock quotes, charting and business directories. The site's personalization feature allows businesspeople to customize the presentation of news and information to meet their individual needs. Users can fine-tune their news by customizing the site to track specific industry information. Additionally, users can see top stories from The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition.
