Disney to Publish Book About Einstein, the World's Smallest Horse

Posted on October 4, 2010

Disney Book Group has announced that it will publish a photographic picture book about Einstein - the smallest horse ever born - and his search for a perfect friend. Einstein is also possibly the cutest horse ever born. The book is scheduled for publication in April 2011, just in time to celebrate Einstein's first birthday.

Einstein was born weighing less than a cat and standing as tall as a cereal box. He may be small, but the owners say Einstein has the "mind and personality of a large horse."

"Readers big and small will fall in love with Einstein," said Stephanie Owens Lurie, Editorial Director, Disney-Hyperion. "We're excited to have this opportunity to share his heartwarming story with the world."

Rachel Wagner and Charles Cantrell, Einstein's owners, will donate a portion of the proceeds for the book to the ASPCA's Equine Fund.
