F&W Media Buys The Writers Store

F+W Media, Inc. has announced the purchase of The Writers Store, a reseller of third-party writing and filmmaking tools. The Writers Store has a store in Burbank, California, which opened in 1982, and an online store at writersstore.com.

David Nussbaum, Chairman and CEO, F+W Media, said in a statement, "This acquisition further solidifies F+W Media's aggressive stance in the eCommerce portion of our business, as we now have 26 estores, which combine offerings as diverse as software and books to online education and DVDs to VIP memberships and offers that can only be found exclusively in our stores."
