Facebook Starting to Lose Users in the U.S.

Facebook is still growing worldwide, but the social networking leader is starting to lose users in the U.S. and Canada according to Inside Facebook. Most of Facebook's growth is coming from countries where Facebook was added fairly recently.

Inside Facebook says Facebook lost nearly 6 million users in the United States in May. They also lost over 1.5 million users in Canada in May. Facebook is nearing 700 million users worldwide, but it may begin to struggle sustaining growth if it continues to lose users in countries where it is already well established.
