Fertility Today Magazine Debuts

Posted on September 6, 2005

Fertility Today is a new bi-monthly magazine that aims to translate cutting-edge fertility approaches into layman's terms while informing the general public as a means of empowerment via education. The magazine was founded by a practicing bilingual Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist Dr. Diana Broomfield.

Fertility Today provides inspiration through first-person accounts such as the premiere July/August issue's cover story on Cindy Margolis: model, actress, author, television producer, the internet's most downloaded celebrity and finally after bouts with infertility -- Mother. Cindy calls her incredible and agonizing story as "mind-boggling," where she experienced "fear, insecurity, low self-esteem and self-doubt" throughout her clinical procedures.

The magazine's mission is to bring infertility issues out into the mainstream from behind closed doors of shame, humiliation, and embarrassment into an arena of support and candid discussion. Topics also include: preservation of fertility in cancer patients, and alternatives to childbirth like adoption and healthy childfree living.
