Food.com, an online food and dining destination, has announced it has launched a new version of its website. New additions to Food.com include daily publishing of national and local food-related content by the company's in-house editorial department, new and regular editorial features within the site, and an enhanced and searchable national Food.com Dining Guide with over 400,000 restaurant listings.

The company also announced that the site would be divided into four distinct categories including online restaurant meal takeout and delivery, food-related editorial, dining guide and shopping. These categories will be represented by five (5) tabs listed across all pages of the website. They are: 1) Online Ordering, 2) Cooking & Entertaining, (editorial) 3) News and Features, (editorial) 4) Dining Guide Search, and 5) Marketplace.

``This latest version of our site brings us even closer to our vision of the ultimate Food network. With transactions, media, an aggregated base of 16,000 interactive restaurants, and other food and dining-related services, our reach into this segment has become even more widespread,'' said Food.com Chairman and CEO Rich Frank. ``We've listened closely to our members and to consumers as a whole and this is what they want to see - one place that they can go for anything and everything related to food and dining.''

The latest version of the Food.com website will allow Food.com's editorial team to publish daily local and national news related to food and dining. New and regular features by the editorial department will include Ask Food.com, Restaurant Secrets, a weekly menu, gossip and news, Celebrity Fridge, features about food at work and on college campuses, wine reviews, recipes, top restaurant lists, drink recipes and Food.com editorial specials.
