Gordie Howe's Autobiography Arrives in October

Posted on May 4, 2014

G. P. Putnam's Sons will publish hockey great Gordie Howe's autobiography, Mr. Hockey, in October. Howe dominated the game of hockey and rewrote the record books. He also played for six years with his own two sons, Mark and Marty.

The book shares inside details of Howe's six-decade-long Hall of Fame career. It also discusses her enduring marriage and family relationship. The book also discusses Howe's life after the NHL.

Howe says in the announcement, "I have been lucky. I got to do something I loved for more than my fair share of years. But no accomplishment is about just one person - no championship, no statistic, and certainly not a whole career. It's a pleasure to tell my story with this book, and especially to include the people who have meant so much to me along the way."

Mr. Hockey is available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
