Gregory Coleman Named Senior Vice President, Global Publisher of Reader's Digest

Gregory G. Coleman, 43, has been promoted to senior vice president of The Reader's Digest Association, Inc., and worldwide publisher of Reader's Digest magazine, effective immediately.

Coleman will continue to report to Marcia Lefkowitz, president of Reader's Digest U.S.A., and also will report to John Bohane, president of International Operations.

As part of his new responsibilities, Coleman will help launch new editions of Reader's Digest around the world, as well as acquire and develop new magazines. Since 1990, Reader's Digest has launched editions in Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Thailand and Slovakia. Reader's Digest added Walking magazine to its stable of publications in March 1997.
