Payment: Payment is $25 and up for poetry, $30 and up for short stories and $40 and up for craft articles.
Tips: The editors note "If you are writing a story but have not been around kids in awhile, please make sure your dialogue and characters are up to date." They also advise sending any seasonal material at least 8 months in advance.
