Description: The Kenyon Review is a 75-year-old literary magazine published at Kenyon College in Ohio. Some of the authors that have been published by The Kenyon Review in the past include Flannery O'Connor, Dylan THomas, Maya Angelou, Woody Allen and Ha Jin.

Needs: Shorts stories, essays, plays, poetry, excerpts and translations. They don't accept previously published material.
Length: up to 7500 words for short fiction and essays
Payment: The Kenyon Review is a paying market although they do not list specifics on the guidelines page.
Tips: The magazine also runs a poetry contest and short fiction contest.
How to Submit: Submissions are not accepted by email or post. You must submit through the Submittable page during the open submissions period which begins in the fall. All submissions are considered for both the Kenyon Review and KROnline, an online publication.
