Description: Rattle's mission is to promote the practice of poetry. Rattle has published over 2,200 poets including over 400 first time poets. The Rattle poetry magazine is a publication of the Rattle Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity.

Payment: Contributors in print receive $100/poem and a complimentary one-year subscription to the magazine. Online contributors receive $50/poem.

Tips: Rattle says, "We're looking for poems that move us, that might make us laugh or cry, or teach us something new. We like both free verse and traditional forms—we try to publish a representative mix of what we receive."

Rattle also runs an annual Rattle Poetry Prize.

How to Submit: They prefer to accept poetry by Submittable. They will also accept Postal submissions. No email submissions. Simultaneous submissions are encouraged.
