Needs: Night Train Magazine, a new print journal debuting in September 2002, needs your stories. Night Train welcomes submissions of flash fiction, short fiction, self-contained novel excerpts, or creative non-fiction in traditional or experimental styles. We do not consider poetry, criticism or book reviews at this time.

Payment: payment includes 2 cents per word to a maximum of $100.00, 2 one-year gift subscriptions, and a lifetime subscription
How to Submit: Simultaneous and multiple submissions accepted; please inform us if the work you submit is published elsewhere. Include your name, e-mail address and phone number, and send your work to submission@nighttrainmagazine.com as text in the body of an e-mail or as an attachment in Word, WordPerfect, or rich text format. Please include your name, working title, and word count in the subject line of your e-mail.
Response Time: Response time is usually about a month.
