Harper Voyager Accepting Unagented Manuscripts For Two Weeks in October

Posted on September 12, 2012

Writers, fire up your computers. For two weeks in October, Harper Voyager is opening the portals to Publishing Heaven and will accept unagented manuscripts. And no, this is not an April Fool's joke. Harper Voyager is HarperCollins' science fiction and fantasy imprint.

From October 1st through October 14th, 2012, authors can submit their complete manuscripts here. Editors from HarperCollins offices in the USA, UK and Australia will select the best manuscripts. Those selected will be published and get online marketing and sales support in World English Markets. Voyager is looking for an "array of adult and young adult speculative fiction for digital publication, but particularly novels written in the epic fantasy, science fiction, urban fantasy, horror, dystopia and supernatural genres."

Well, what are you waiting for? Opportunities like this don't come along very often. Actually, we've never heard of a major publisher doing something like this.
