HarperCollins Launches New Lifestyle Imprint Called HarperWave

HarperCollins is launching a new imprint called HarperWave, a health, wellness and lifestyle imprint. Jonathan Burnham, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Harper, made the announcement. The new imprint has been in the works for the past six months. Karen Rinaldi, Executive Editor Julie Will and editorial assistant Jake Zebede have been building the list for the new imprint.

The imprint will feature titles from experts, doctors, journalists and celebrities. The type of book will vary from illustrated to narrative. The first book to hit shelves will be Get the Guy by Matthew Hussey, the star of NBC's new reality series Ready for Love.

Cameron Diaz is writing a health and fitness book. There will also be three books from the magazine Garden & Gun, and a cookbook by Fernanda Capobianco, who owns the Upper East Side bakery Vegan Divas. Other fitness titles will include Body by Simone by celebrity trainer Simone de la Rue and The Calorie Myth by Jonathan Bailor.
