Posted on January 27, 1999

HarperCollins Children's Books has announced the publication of Naomi Judd's first book for children, Love Can Build a Bridge (May, $15.95, All Ages) illustrated by Suzanne Duranceau. Love Can Build a Bridge portrays a sequence of children helping one another and the final spread depicts them joining hands to form a bridge around the world.

Naomi Judd says, "Love can always build a bridge to connect you with someone. The materials such metaphorical bridges are made of are kindness, respect, fairness and caring." The accompanying tape includes the recording by Naomi and Wynonna Judd from their 1990 album Love Can Build A Bridge. The lyrics are also included in the back of the book. A portion of the royalties received from the sale of this book shall benefit the Judd Family Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization.
