Scholastic has already announced a record-breaking first printing of 10.8 million copies. The fastest-selling book in history, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, J.K. Rowling's fifth Harry Potter book, was released on June 21, 2003 and sold 5 million copies in the first 24 hours.
